This week’s Kansas college Players of the Week are Haven Lander, PSU; Jordan Murdock, Friends; and Javion Blake, WU.

Haven Lander, sophomore, Pittsburg State

Lander is again No. 1 in NCAA Division II this season with her winning jump at the Gorilla Indoor Classic and broke her own school record with a clearance of 13 feet, 5.25 inches.

Jordan Murdock, senior, Friends (Wichita Southeast H.S.)

Murdock is going out strong. He put up 34 points, grabbed 11 boards and dished out five assists in his final home game, willing his team to a 94-92 win over Bethany. His 27.9 points per game are third in the NAIA and he is already all-time scorer in Friends history.

Javion Blake, senior, Washburn (Olathe East H.S.)

Blake averaged 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in helping Washburn to a 2-0 week with wins on the road. He put in 30 points in the Ichabods’ win at Southwest Baptist and is now No. 6 all-time in scoring at Washburn.
