Central Christian defeated Crowley’s Ridge, 121-72, on Thursday night. And the men’s basketball got a new leader in career scoring in the process.
Michael Gholston put in 27 point on the evening, and now sits at 1,649 for his career, topping the previous mark of 1,647, set by Chris Jones in 2013.
Gholston is leading the team in scoring and is averaging 19.3 points per game throughout 16 contests this year.
The Tigers’ 121-point total on the evening is a season-high, not only for Central Christian, but also for any four-year Kansas college basketball program.
