Kelcey Hinz of Kansas Wesleyan has been named the NAIA National Women’s Basketball Div II Player of the Week, the NAIA announced Tuesday.
Hinz, a sophomore from Whitewater, averaged 24.5 points and 16.5 rebounds in two wins last week, the latest in a five-game winning streak.
She scored 31 points and hauled in a program-record 25 rebounds in the 80-76 win over No. 19 Sterling.
