Titus garners second straight Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-America nod

AUSTIN, Texas – Friends University senior track & field/cross country student-athlete Christa Titus (SR/Grinnell, Iowa) has been selected as a Google Cloud College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) second-team Academic All-America honoree for the second consecutive season, the organization has released.

Titus concluded her stellar career by helping the Falcons’ 4×800 relay team record a ninth place finish at the NAIA National Meet in Gulf Shores, Ala.

The Grinnell, Iowa native captured the KCAC Outdoor championship in the 3000 Steeplechase while also winning the event at the Southwestern Relays.

A KCAC Preseason Cross Country pick, Titus produced a top five overall finish at the KCAC Cross Country Meet to contribute to a third place finish overall.

The epitome of a student-athlete, Titus is also an NAIA Scholar Athlete recipient.
