Baker’s big fourth quarter moves Wildcats to the second round

Kelsey Larson made Baker’s first 11 points of the fourth quarter. It matched entire output of her opponent in the period.

Baker used a 31-11 fourth quarter run to take the lead and distance itself from Mobile (Ala.) for a 72-56 first round win in the NAIA Tournament.

Larson scored 26 points in the game, shooting 7-of-8 from the field and 4-of-5 from outside the arc. Mackenzie Cook had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

It was the 30th win of the season for the Wildcats (30-4), who move on to face Campbellsville (Ky..) in the second round on Friday at 1:30 CDT.
